Family Law

Family law is the branch of law that inter alia, deals with the matters related to the family, such as divorce and child custody. It consists of a body of statutes and precedents that determine the relationship between the individuals in a family. These cases usually involve parties who are related by blood or marriage, but family law can affect those in more distant or casual relationships as well.

India is witnessing huge surge in cases related to families and in spite of its social cultural history family law proceeding have taken a mountainous heap in last decade or so. The vast majority of family law proceedings come about as a result of the termination of a marriage and other related issues. Family law attorneys help their clients file for separation or divorce, alimony, and child custody, visitation, and support. Spouses married a short time may seek an annulment, and special rights may exist between same-sex couples. The division of property at the end of a marriage is also a common issue in family law cases.

At INS LAW NETWORK we have a separate team of specialized family law lawyers who not help the clients in court proceeding but play important role in pre litigation including outside court mediation between the parties.
